Google Plus View
On March 31, Google Plus users experienced a big change in their profile view display. Rather than being able to see total +1s of a page, whether it be a business profile or a local page, users now see total page views. This can only mean one thing – size matters now more than ever.
In this Hangout with social media marketing expert Jesse Wojdylo, he breaks down what the change means for Plus users and how they can maximize and grow their total page views. With this change, it is vital to work on building your audience on a daily basis.
By implementing these exclusive tips, you can organically grow your page views and watch your Google Plus profile flourish.
What you need to know:
A view is like a billboard. You don’t have to click or engage for it to count as a view – you merely have to see the post. That means that when people login and your post shows up in their stream, your page view count instantly goes up.
Because size is so important, there has never been a better time to connect with influencers. Reach out to like-minded influencers that have large audiences. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask – “How can I be of assistance to you and you to me?”
In order to grow your audience, you have to know what works. Spend a week or two and share 5-10 posts. This is a quick way to find out what resonates with your audience.
Kill two birds with one stone. For those with both a personal and business page, use the smaller of the two pages to share first, then reshare the post from the page with the bigger audience. You instantly maximize your page views with minimal work.
When all that matters now is page views, it’s important to make every effort on Plus count. Want to know more? Don’t hesitate to ask any questions in the comments below!
